Questions people actually ask.

Getting started
How long does it take to get something working?
Call answering is usually live within a week because it is configuration rather than construction. Quoting and invoice automation depends on how tidy your existing pricing is, and is typically two to four weeks. Process automation starts with an audit, so we can give you a date after that rather than guessing.
Do I have to change the systems I already use?
Almost never. We build around your existing calendar, accounts package and CRM. Ripping out working software to suit an automation is the wrong way round, and it is how these projects stall.
What if it does not work for my business?
We will tell you before you spend anything. Some businesses genuinely do not have a problem worth automating yet, and saying so costs us one invoice and earns a referral.
Cost and funding
Why do you publish prices when nobody else does?
Because the first question everybody has is whether this costs hundreds or tens of thousands, and making people book a call to find out wastes their time and ours.
Can I get grant funding for this?
If you are an SME manufacturer, very likely. Made Smarter North West matches up to 50% of technology adoption spend, capped at £20,000. Eligibility is sME manufacturers with 249 employees or fewer, turnover under £36m or a balance sheet under £18m. We help with the application at no charge.
Do I own what you build?
Yes, on the automation and integration work. You are not renting your own processes back from us. Where a build depends on a third party platform, that platform has its own licence and we will name it before you commit.
How it works in practice
What happens when the AI does not know the answer?
It escalates rather than inventing something. The call assistant transfers or takes a message. The quoting system flags anything outside your normal rates instead of sending it. You see every conversation and every document produced.
Will my customers know they are talking to a machine?
We recommend telling them, and most of our clients do. Callers care far more about being answered and getting a date in the diary than about who typed the note.
What about our data?
We write down which systems hold what, which providers process it and where it sits, before anything is built. If your sector has specific obligations, that shapes the design rather than being handled afterwards.
Tell us what eats your week. We will tell you if it can be automated.
No charge for the conversation, and no obligation after it.
